Erik, who is the founder of EV-Acoustics, started this company after a successful career as a recording engineer. He worked with artists and producers like: Chris Brown, Iris Hond, Miss Montreal, Marco Borsato, John Ewbank, GBTTZ, Ilse Delange, Anouk, Pat Leonard, Woezel & Pip, JUST, and many more.
Erik was a part of the team that rebuilt and revived the Wisseloord studio’s between 2011 and 2017. He sees Ronald Prent and Darcy Proper as his most influential mentors. Besides working at Wisseloord, he also engineered recordings in projects studio’s and large format studio’s. The projects ranged from drum recordings in a “anti-kraak building” to an orchestral recording (Royal Philharmonic Orchestra) in Abbey Roads, studio 1, to rap vocals with Chris Brown and even 9.1 AURO 3D recordings for software development.
It is because of this background that Erik developed a passion to design high-end music production rooms and recording rooms. “My goal is to design a room that fits the creative process of the client. “
